Introducing the award winning K-12 student information systems, Faculty Access for the Web™
Faculty Access for the Web, an online component of the company’s Registrar’s Office administrative software, helps K-12 teachers stay connected from anywhere they have Web access. Faculty Access for the Web software has been selected for inclusion in the Media & Methods’ 2003 AWARDS PORTFOLIO.
“When we set out to develop this product, our goal was to provide teachers with a tool to help them more easily stay on top of the amazing amount of administrative data they have to process daily,” said Germaine Ward, Vice President of Products at Blackbaud, which works with more than 2,000 private K-12 schools. “We are honored to receive this award in recognition of how Faculty Access for the Web helps teachers get the job done – wherever they are.”
Faculty Access for the Web allows teachers to access student records over the Web. Teachers use this online component of Registrar’s Office to enter daily grades, skills assessments, attendance, final term grades and comments, in addition to viewing student record information and detailed progress and missing assignment reports. Direct integration with the Registrar’s Office software empowers teachers to contribute to the school’s vital record-keeping efforts without being tied to the classroom computer.
